This beautiful indicolite tourmaline pendant has a natural watermelon style tourmaline slice and in order to enhance its natural beauty, I chose this design. This is the very classic of all watermelon tourmaline pendant: simple and easy to wear, also easy to clean.

To honor the beauty of this indicolite tourmaline slice, I decided to use the freestyle wax pattern, which I did the wax pendant shape and the silversmith did the casting and finished process.

The back of the pendant is the shape of a heart which i think it is cute and meaningful

For one, Paraiba is known for more vibrant, saturated colors and goes beyond blue and green into violet shades. The cause of Paraiba’s color is copper (with manganese added in violet shades), while indicolite’s color comes from iron. 

Second is rarity. Though all blue tourmaline is rare, Paraiba is the rarest tourmaline variety of all. This is reflected in its price, as premium gems can be 6-times the price of premium indicolite gems of similar size.
