Something about this Multi-color raw tourmaline pendant PMT001A
To make this bicolor tourmaline pendant, I purchased raw tourmaline from the Afghanistan where tourmaline are found with high quality and various colors. Then I selected the good crystals with good size, shape and colors
From there, I started to choose which design to use for the crystals. Simple and elegant design is always my favorite.
And here we have this beautiful and unique raw tourmaline pendant with multiple colors.
The message of this Raw tourmaline pendant
This raw tourmaline pendant is simply natural with pure energy from Mother Earth. Sometimes in life, we do not need much of complexity but something simple and still beautiful just the way we are. That’s how we get closer to our inner self and find the connection with nature.
A combination of those crystals show the harmony we need in life. Somehow, you can feel the diversity of our society, people from different places, they speak different languages, they look differently. However, that’s what makes life more interesting and beautiful.
If you know someone that have difficulties to get along with other people, this can be a great gift for those.
Special thing about Elisa’s jewelry:
Just like a book writer, I know all about my jewelry. The stone still has the natural trace, it is not only a sign of being natural but also a sign of uniqueness. You can realize your own jewelry with just a blink.
Every crystal is as unique as you are. Thank you so much for looking at my jewelry. That is my honor already. Wish you all the best!
General information about tourmaline
Tourmaline is found around the world and has a variety of colors: Green, black, blue, pink, yellow, bicolor, sometimes tri-color and many other hues of each color, which make tourmaline a special type of gemstones.
The name “Tourmaline” reflects this multicolored splendor. It comes from the Sri Lankan word turmali, which can be translated as “stone with mixed colors” or “gem pebbles.”
Elbaite is a sodium lithium aluminium borosilicate hydroxide mineral that belongs to the Tourmaline Group of minerals. The following crystals belong to this mineral, Indicolite, Paraiba, Pink, Purple, Rubellite, Verdelite and Watermelon Tourmaline.
Dravite is a rare brown complex sodium magnesium iron boro-aluminium silicate
Schorl is a black sodium iron aluminium boro-silicate hydroxide.
Uvite is a rare green calcium iron magnesium aluminium boron-silicate hydroxide.
Tourmaline is a fairly common mineral, but gem quality crystals are relatively rare, and found almost exclusively in Pegmatite. Numerous mines exist whose primary purpose is finding gem-quality Tourmaline.
Tourmaline are found in Brazil, but they may also come from Afghanistan, Australia, Madagascar, Mozambique, and the United States.
Vietnam also has tourmaline. And with my experience, tourmaline from different countries or even different places have distinguished features. For more information about these, please go to my blog.
