Something about this Indicolite tourmaline pendant necklace FPIT002D
To make this certified indicolite tourmaline pendant, I purchased raw tourmaline from Afghanistan, then I selected the best crystals with facet quality, handed to stone cutter and then received the faceted stones after a few weeks.
From there, I started to choose which design to use for the stone. Simple and elegant design is always my favorite.
And here we have this beautiful certified indicolite tourmaline pendant with bicolor effect.
The message of this Indicolite tourmaline pendant necklace
This certified indicolite tourmaline pendant is simply simple but it is elegant and chic. Sometimes in life, we do not need much of complexity but something simple and still beautiful just the way we are.
Special thing about Elisa’s jewelry:
Just like a book writer, I know all about my jewelry. The stone still has the natural trace, it is not only a sign of being natural but also a sign of uniqueness. You can realize your own jewelry with just a blink.
Every crystal is as unique as you are. Thank you so much for looking at my jewelry. That is my honor already. Wish you all the best!
What’s the difference between Paraiba tourmaline vs indicolite tourmaline?
For one, Paraiba is known for more vibrant, saturated colors and goes beyond blue and green into violet shades. The cause of Paraiba’s color is copper (with manganese added in violet shades), while indicolite’s color comes from iron.
Second is rarity. Though all blue tourmaline is rare, Paraiba is the rarest tourmaline variety of all. This is reflected in its price, as premium gems can be 6-times the price of premium indicolite gems of similar size.
About Indicolite tourmaline:
Indicolite tourmaline’s color comes in shades of blue, sometimes with green undertones.
As a tourmaline, indicolite is a traditional October birthstone, 8th wedding anniversary gem, and Libra zodiac stone. Indicolite also benefits Taurus, Leo, and Scorpio, along with being a star stone for Mercury and Pluto.
Additionally, tourmaline is the official state mineral of Maine, USA. Other monikers for the stone include “indigolite” and “aqualite.”
About Paraiba Tourmaline
Paraíba tourmaline is an intensely saturated neon-blue, blue-green, or violet tourmaline named for its discovery in Paraiba, Brazil, in the 1980s.
Indicolite Meaning
Indicolite symbolizes inspiration, open-mindedness, and empathy.
Like all gems, indicolite can be a healing stone. Indicolite blue tourmaline joins other blue gemstones in promoting serenity, empathy, and honesty. Green hues bring the luck, balance, and positivity associated with green gemstones.
Indicolite is a throat chakra stone, the energy center of truth, understanding, and communication. Once indicolite opens the chakra, it invites you to better understand and express your truest self.
How to take care of indicolite tourmaline
Clean indicolite with lukewarm water, mild soap, and a soft toothbrush. Rinse it well, then dry it with a soft, microfiber cloth.
Tourmalines are sensitive to extreme heat and sudden temperature changes. Store indicolite in a relatively cool space away from direct sunlight and other gems.
